Overview

Thank you for your interest in our school. We encourage you to find out more about our approach to academics by arranging a campus tour, speaking with current and graduated students, and attending school events. Our administration and staff are also more than happy to answer any questions you may have about our school and help you to figure out if the American School of Fes – Amicitia is the right learning environment for your child.
The American School of Fes – Amicitia has put into place a rigorous admissions process to ensure that the students who are admitted can perform well academically and contribute to the sense of community that is promoted here.
Once the application has been submitted, our Registrars will schedule testing and an interview with the student(s) and parents. All students, regardless of age and previous English level, are required to take an English Level Proficiency Test (ELPT) to measure their English competency. Students up to 11 years old (5th grade) can be enrolled regardless of their English proficiency level; however, the test is still mandatory in order to understand what sort of language support they will need if they are accepted into the school.

For students 12 years old (6th grade) or above, a grade level English proficiency level is required for standard enrollment. Any student who tests below their grade level will be required to enroll conditionally. For more information about our Conditional Enrollment Policy, please click Here

Enrollment is generally open in March for the following school year. Due to limited space in classes and the time required for testing and interviews, we encourage those interested to start the process early.
