Message from the Director

Welcome to the American School Fes - Amicitia, a fully-accredited American preschool, elementary, middle, and high school.
Amicitia is the Latin term for “friendship.” From the beginning, friendship has been a cornerstone of our mission. We believe that working side by side with people from different cultures has the potential to create a world-class educational community that embraces the diversity of our individual teachers, students, staff, and family members. Our learning environment places priority on developing the whole child using a variety a learner-centered, experiential pedagogies that produce globally-minded leaders.

Our curriculum uses American academic standards to provide Amicitia students with the opportunity to learn in and through the arts, to understand the technology driving our modern world, to develop a sense of civic duty through community service, and to understand our changing world firsthand through experiential learning.
