The mission of our library is threefold: first, to provide supplemental materials for classroom learning; second, to provide students with the tools they need to engage in quality research; and third, to encourage and support pleasure reading.

American School Fes

Reading develops a child’s ability to recognize the structure and rules of a language and enables imagination. Our library exists to promote reading for all ages. Restructured in 2015, the library of the American School of Fes – Amicitia is a resource for students, teachers, staff, administration, and community members alike. The library contains fiction, non-fiction, literature, and reference materials. There are also class sets and leveled readers, as well as books to help teachers with lesson planning, child development, and other teaching materials. Our library exists to facilitate and deepen learning for all ages and subjects, including our foreign languages. It is setup to help our children find information to respond to their natural curiosity. They books in them can teach students of all ages how to develop artistic skills, recreational skills, and academic skills, as well as serve as places to get lost in imaginative worlds.
